Anal Skin Tags

These are small skin appendages that are found just outside the opening of the anal canal. They sometimes originate from previous hemorrhoidal tissue that has shrunken. Their presence could interfere with anal hygiene and cleaning so they may need to be removed. Removal can be undertaken as a minor office procedure or in some instances in the operating room.
